Wow - I truly haven't got enough words to describe what I truly think of this company - they are absolutely amazing ❤ One of my neighbours is a lovely lady - we have lived in the same street for over 20yrs. She's originally from the Yemen, and speaks English fairly well but she's very shy, and 'us locals' tend to speak far too quickly, thus making it hard for her to understand, and she finds it hard conversing with people she doesn't know - the only family she has that are living in the UK are at the other end of the country, and she's lost her husband so she's here by herself... I saw her last week looking upset, so on asking why, it turned out that her roof was leaking in several places - she was terrified and completely lost as for what to do. She'd had one roofer out who had clearly got frustrated at her nervous English language skills, and had shouted at her and stormed off, leaving her in floods of tears (I was furious on learning that - who yells at a clearly distressed woman in crisis for goodness sake?) She was too scared of trying to explain her plight to anyone else, so I took the task on for her and found Peter at Reactive Roofing, who came out the next day and rang me with a quote for doing the job. My neighbour and I worked out she what extra she needed on top of what she could raise from the bank, and she managed to borrow the shortfall from a friend. Later on when the lads came to do the work, the roofer discovered the job was somewhat more extensive than what had been first anticipated, and the job was going to be a fair amount more expensive to do, which clearly had my neighbour in blind panic as she had literally borrowed the shortfall as it was, and was out of options for raising anymore - she couldn't do it. I rang Peter and explained the situation, and he very kindly agreed to waive the extra cost and do the job for the price he had first quoted. My neighbour was so grateful and relieved that she promptly burst into tears, (again!) but thankfully this time they were happy tears, and these were promptly followed by mine, too. The relief that her roof was getting fixed was palpable to be honest, and it also renewed some of her faith in human nature too - expecially after the last roofer incident! 🤷‍♀️ I can honestly say this company is THE most trustworthy roofing co in the area, without a doubt. There's not many in this trade (in my opinion) that can be described as a man of his word, but Peter most definitely is. I can't recommend highly enough, and if you're reading this Reactive Roofing, I'd just like to thank you again, for your genuine kindness to a stranger in need ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
