Sealed Air case study
This large-scale 5000 m² warehouse refurbishment project based in Saint Neots is the perfect example of what CRE specialise in.
A ‘live environment’ space where the day-to-day business operations needed to continue with as a little disruption as possible. We carefully stripped the existing asbestos cement outer sheet along with the insulation and plasterboard linings. Then, we adorned the structure with a highly insulated built-up roof system, incorporating this new roof light pattern, transmitting loads of natural light into the building making it a much more desirable place to work within.
Tunnels were constructed within the building to allow free movement for fork trucks and personnel whilst being largely unhindered by the works happening up above. It is through the close relationships we form with our customers that can allow a project such as this to be carried out in harmony and this is testament to not only the relationship we have with our customers, but with our dedicated workforce.

No pressure selling, professional staff from initial contact through to completion. They even came out a month earlier than expected to get the roof on to protect the house before the weather worsened.
Attention to detail and ability to react to building changes and unique windows were never a problem to Lawrence and the Team.

Nigel Hart5 StarHad single garage asbestos roof replaced with metal roofing, along with associated guttering, fascia and down pipe renewed. The initial visit to estimate the work was very thorough and was one of the factors which helped me decide on Cambridge Roof Exchange. The work was carried out in one morning (4 - 5 hours) and was to a very high standard. They are able to have the steel roofing made to the exact length of the roof, which was a real advantage as it meant no horizontal joints, so less chance of future leaks. The inside of the roof is also coated with a layer of felt like material, which prevents condensation drips.Wednesday 10th February 2021
