We are a family run, long established roofing company based in South London. Operating throughout London & Surrey, we offer a fully comprehensive list of roofing services to these areas. Our staff are trained in roofing techniques to BSI Standards, and we are accredited members of the NFRC (National Federation Of Roofing Contractors). We currently have a fleet of 6 vehicles, meaning no lengthy lead-times stalling your project/roofing problems.

In addition to our NFRC accreditation, we are also manufacturer approved installers of Europolymers Evolution Felt, Cromer Liquid Rubber, Scott Bader GRP Roofing Systems and Cromer Fibreglass Systems. We can also boast membership to Checkatrade.

Our Competent Roofer accreditation allows us to self-certify new roof replacement work, meaning no building control fees from the local council to sign-off the work. We achieved this accreditation through close vetting and spot inspections from the Competent Roofer organisation. competent-roofer

We are also members of the Trustmark Scheme. Trustmark is a government endorsed scheme aimed to remove the rogue traders from the equation. Companies are vetted in workmanship, general administration/running, financial stability, customer service & health and safety compliance.We are fully insured, Including the application of heat.

We use cutting edge technology to provide you with a free, no obligation quote. Our surveyors are highly trained drone operators, and drone flight is possible in most areas (with exception to no-fly zones such as close proximity to sports stadia, prisons or government buildings.

Peter Morris arrived on time to inspect my GRP roof. He came across as indifferent and said he would quote for a new roof. Despite 2 further phone calls and emails no one from Barris Roofing has replied. Nice website but a total time waster so avoid !!

Made an appointment. Roofer did not show up. No telephone call made by company. Left message to follow up if the roofer was coming. No telephone call for two weeks. Phoned again. Receptionist said they turned up but no one was home. Wife and I were both home. Did not hear a knock or telephone call to check. Did not receive a telephone reply to my message. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but instead of being apologetic and taking responsibility for the company she laughed it off. It is a shame as I wanted to use a local company and heard about the company through word of mouth.

Tried to get a quote from Barris roofing over summer to repair or replace our roof. Was a very challenging company to deal with. To try and get a quote I emailed (with a set of photos of the property). For the first quote attempt we arranged an hour window. No one appeared, I called the office and was told the estimator was on another job and couldn't make it for two hours. For the second quote attempt I enlisted a family member who could stay for longer in case the estimator was delayed, however when he turned up and looked at the property he said he would need a drone which he didn't have with him. For the third quote attempt having called the office and complained we were told that this could be done without us there as they only needed a drone to look at the roof. This was arranged for the next week, I called a few days after the date to see if we could have the quote, however it couldn't be found. I ended up chasing the quote for a week before finding out that the drone used for quoting was in repair and actually no one had gone to the property. At this point it was over a month later and I gave up trying to get a quote. All in all a very frustrating and stressful experience. Edit - Thank-you for the response. I'm sorry to hear that there have been ongoing personal health issues for you and your family and my sympathies are with you. In the future I would recommend being more transparent about this (where possible), to enable your customers to understand.
